Been a big fan of James Holden since his "horizons" release, and I recently fell in love with his DJ sets! I saw him at 1015 the spring of 2004 and was blown away, one of the best sets i've ever heard! I was there with Kevin Sweeney, Mike Sweeney & Gavin Prestwood... I will always remember that night!
- www.meerkat.cc San Diego Producer who is hooked up with James Holden. Meerkat makes some great experimental music.. from ambient to electro to trance, they are all amazing productions! Check out my favorite (so far), his track entitled "stars"!
- www.soundofhabib.com This is a Swedish based Breakbeat label that puts out some really quality tunes. Ranging from melodic to dark, they hit all the right spots in between! I had the opportunity to meet up with them while I was in europe during the fall of 2002! I had a great time talking to Stisch (Great Producer) and Johan (Cool DJ and head of the label). Check their site out for free mp3s and other goodies; including info about Dan F, a really good producer to look out for in the future!!!
